#Mindfulness

The list 📋 below works for me. Sometimes one of them, and on some occassions a hybrid of things from the list below. I would not call this as a “strategy” though, it is something naturally built into my response system.

They are not in any particular order and have scribbled casually on my approach to mindfulness.


Forgiveness 🙏

This is a tough one but I have been trying this out and it has worked for me.


Positivity 🌻

I look at things with positivity i.e. whatever happens, happens for good!


The circle of influence ⭕

What can “I” change and is in my control? What others do is not in my control or area of influence, so it is better not to waste time, emotions or energy by correcting others.


Gratitude 🥰

I love saying “thank you!”.

Helpfulness ⛑️

My natural way into any situation is to help others wherever I can.

However, this is a double edged sword. Occassionally becoming helpful turns out to be more stressful especially when others don’t treat you at par and take you for granted. But when this happens then I go back to my “circle of influence” mantra ⭕ i.e., I can only do what is in my control!


Fitness 💪

Fitness is key in achieving anything.


A Learning Opportunity 🎓

Everything for me is just another learning opportunity, the universe is trying to prepare me for the events that will unfold in future.


Embracing New Things 🤗

I am always after trying out new things. If Yoga doesn’t work then I will try meditation, and if I get bored of that too then for a few days I will try biking.


Killing Self 🥶

Getting rid of biases is one of my main principles and this can be done only if one is empty. The choice is ours, “live to die or die to live“.


Less is More 🤏

I never break the principle of minimalism, except when it comes to tasty food 🙂


Do it now ⏰

I am not good at this one and have a bad habit of procrastinating. Procrastination only increases frustration and anxiety, so I have been trying to improve on this one.


Avoid Negativity 📉

Oh yes! It is very easy to avoid people / things who have a negative approach. Just block them!


Choosing Company Wisely🤝

It is ok to be lonely instead of being with people that can pull you further down.

Be with people from where you can learn new and good things, and are of a similar mindset.


Giving / Sharing 👼

Giving away things you no longer use e.g., “used” clothes is great, but we can aim for becoming better at this. Give what you are good at e.g., share knowledge or skills as part of volunteering, something that you believe is of great value and not something of no longer use to you. Another great example is giving your valuable “time” to others!


Something from the above is definitely working because I know that I am a “happy” person 🙂
