Core Message:
Live based on your own nature. If the rose plant sees a lily plant and thinks of growing lilies on it, will it work?
Don’t chase meaning, don’t cling to purpose.
Just be your essence (Tatva) – live effortlessly, naturally, and presently.
તત્વ
નથી જોયું છોડવા ને નાક,
કે નથી જોઇ આભ ને આંખ…૧
નથી પાણી ને ભીનાશ નું ભાન,
ને નથી હાસ્ય ને સુખ નું જ્ઞાન…૨
ધરા ને નથી લાગતો ભાર,
અગ્નિ શું જાણે શું છે અંગાર…૩
કયાં રાત ઓળખે છે અંધકાર,
કયાં હૃદય જાણે શું છે ધબકાર…૪
તો જીવ કેમ માંગે મુક્તિધામ?
ને કેમ પ્રેમ ચાહે સ્પર્શ ને કામ?…૫
શું રોજ જીવવું મરવા માટે,
કેમ ના મરીયે જીવવા માટે…૬
Meaning of the Poetry:
I have never seen a plant, say, a rose, with a nose to smell the sweet fragrance of its own flowers. Nor have I seen the sky, or the atmosphere, with eyes to admire the beauty of the Earth it has helped to create.
Water doesn’t know that it is wet,
Laughter doesn’t understand that it brings joy…
The Earth doesn’t feel burdened because of the weight on it,
And fire doesn’t even know what a spark is…
Does night even know what darkness mean?
Does a heart truly understand its own beat, and its power of it keeping someone alive?
Then why does the living being crave salvation (or God)?
Why does love so often long for a touch, only to slip into the (dark) shadow of lust?
Why do we live every day just to die someday! i.e. chasing various purposes that have been built based on our experiences, and we live to build our future to attain that purpose.
Why not die a little, to truly live! Instead why dont we die, or kill, these purposes, our past and futures, so that we can live in the present moment based on our inherent nature and our consiousness.
